St. Louis University Hosts High School Students For Cyber Workshop
St. Louis University welcomed the Alliance Secure Pathways Series of workshops on March 20th, 2024. Students were shown pathways into the career field of cybersecurity and introduced to working professionals in the industry.
Alliance and Partners Collab on Cyber Workshop at Community College
St. Louis region information security professionals showed up for local high school students at a cybersecurity career awareness workshop hosted by St. Louis Community College’s Florissant Valley Campus. Multiple education partners including GHECC, The Global Center for Cybersecurity, St. Louis Community College and others collaborated to bring the program together.

The 2023 Converge Tour made a stop in Chicago Illinois on Tuesday March 21st, to speak with nearly 100 Chicago Public School Students about career availability in cybersecurity.
Alliance Announces Executive Development Program
The Security Advisor Alliance (SAA) has created a program intended to grow a qualified “pool” of CISO/CSO qualified candidates. The idea is to take advantage of the legacy expertise and experiences of current senior level CSO/CISO’s to help emerging candidates be better prepared to step into those roles. We will make it happen through a unique offering of working sessions between a potential candidate (one at a time), a panel of established CISOs, and one on one time with panel members.
SPARK Interns Impress
The Alliance Staff and partners in St. Louis have engaged four high school students in a mini cyber internship over the course of 12 weeks this spring. The students are exploring careers in cybersecurity and will visit several businesses to meet real working cyber professinoals and learn about their jobs.
