WashU Cyber Roundtable - Artificial Intelligence

The Alliance is proud to partner with Washington University in St. Louis Missouri on the 2024 Cybersecurity Roundtable Series. This marks the fourth year the Alliance is working with WashU on this program. Each month, between 25 and 30, mid to senior level cybersecurity professionals gather on campus in St. Louis to discuss the hottest topics in cybersecurity. Alliance Advisory Council member Andrew Wilder, a multiple time global CISO helped craft 8 monthly themes. Each session is broken into 4-5 complimentary talks from Alliance Senior leaders.

To kick off the series, Andrew spoke to the group about how a senior leader, or CISO thinks about Artificial Intelligence, and how it will play a role in the business enablement of each firm.

Following, AI Entrepreneur Ryan Brennell followed with a “Dive Dive” into AI use cases, demonstrating several techniques that our teams will be implementing to increase efficiencies, drive down costs, increase productivity, and reshape the very nature of work moving forward.

After lunch, Brad Liggett, Microsoft Security CoPilot & long time Allinace supporter, helped the audience create frameworks around “Responsible Use” of AI tools and policies.

Finally, Alliance founding member and CISO for RegScale, Larry Whiteside Jr. talked through the regulatory environment in Artificial Intelligence.

The Alliance would like to thank each of the four speakers that helped make the March Round Table an incredibly engaging series of discussions.
